One of my competitors, www.ibis-net.com , has a bunch of hidden key words throughout their site. Most of the words are hidden from users by pushing them off the screen via absolute positioning. They even include the names of some of their competitors in order to achieve better ranking. I submitted their site as spam to Google, MSN and Yahoo, but their site is still listed. Is there anything else that can be done?
Yes there is something that can be done. Work harder than them to get ranked higher than they are. The SEs have enough on their hands and most of the time they will not even pay attention to what spam reports you submit. If there are several reports made by more than one person, they MIGHT look in to it but other than that, your only recourse is to work harder than them.
