HTML is not a programming language.

I suggest you first figure out what you want to learn and start with the basic stuff.
If you want to make websites I would go for the C or C++ first as PHP and ASP are similar to C++. Learning OOP is a must.

Learn C first and after that you can switch to some open source language like PHP with database like mysql. Later on you can learn JAVA or .NET which is quite in demand these days.

If you wanted to get started with programming then you should go with C programming. All the programming language require the similar concept and logic. The thing that is different is only the features and the syntax of the programming languages. After being familiar with C you should learn C++ as it gives you the concept of Object Oriented Programming. After learning these two programming language , you can choose any platform you want to go with.

I think you need to start studying PHP. This is a normal variant for the beginner.
