SEO Interview

I am now feeling to improve my SEO business and I am looking forward to hiring some SEO consultants.

I know asking them to explain about SEO will surely be not a tough job. I am interviewing and I would like the exact questions that should be asked to an SEO to know whether he knows how to optimize a website.

See I believe In Technical Test Only U tell Him OR Her To Optimize a Website means to Give a rough Idea On that Website ,,, Then From that u can come to a point How Good he is in SEO......

 

HI sundeep.shetty03, But that is not practical, I may have 4 or 5 SEO interviews and it is practically impossible to give each 5 websites for optimizing and moreover, you cant optimize a website in a day!

Ask about their work experience and their skills. An SEO specialist should be able to perform both onpage and offpage tasks. Most importantly, look for their Portfolio and previously-optimized sites.

 

well... firstly you can ask them for have they already optimised a website if yes then whats the status of that website, after this you can ask them the general and the basic questions that a seo must know.

 

If I was asked to optimize a website for an interview I would walk out (well depending on the company size and pay involved). You should be able to know what type of skill they have from their portfolio.

 

What about the queries on the latest SEO news including the Google panda update and its consequences?

 

Ask for examples of previous work and to give an overview of how they approach SEO projects

Can you guarantee top5 ?
If they say YES that's simply BS

100% guarantees don't exist ..

 

I think the more important question would be this: Why are you trying to do business in SEO if you don't know enough about SEO to judge whether your potential employee is knowledgeable on the subject?

 

@wierdo i wanted to say the same but i'm getting sick to make such observations all the time ...

 

I am just a jack of all trades. To start a business in SEO, one with a managing capability with some knowledge on the subject will do, which I believe I have.

 

Ask him have u optimize his or her website, because if any person has done seo on his or her website then select her or him.
