Actually If Content is unique then no problem. many of news site has same news but different title, content. And Google Panda is specially effect duplicate content site, so keep building quality content and you will get back your ranking and check duplicate content and remove it.
Google Panda improved the algorithm for content sorting and indexing filtering the possible to most likely duplicate contents.
I have a few low quality, low content, high bounce parking style pages on page 1 of Google that I have written and hosted myself. I do that before I get around to creating a full blown website for them. So far they haven't dropped at all! Fingers crossed then, they're a nice easy earner.
