    Hi, do you think that website should contain (beside the sitemap xml) also sitemap in html? I'm talking about rather small page about 40-50 pages. I've heard that might be helpfull in seo. What do you think about it? In my opinion it is a little bit wasting page rank juice.

    A HTML sitemap makes good sense since you can list all your important pages in a way easy to view for humans. You also make sure to distribute your link juice around to important corners of your website

    According to Google " It's good to have both the sitemaps".

    If you can easily develop both then keep them both.

    Yes, an HTML sitemap helps to reduce the depth of the entire website and interlink entire website with each other... which ofcourse helps in SEO.

    Plus, it adds to the user experience. And if you are sending 404 errors to your sitemap... that helps you save a customer and helps retain a visitor

    Main two type of sitemap one html sitemap and HTML sitemap.
    HTML site for visitor or user find any page easily and XML sitemap is for search engine crawler to find your all pages links for crawl.

    XML is the best. If you use Wordpress, there is a plug in that makes your XML site map for you. Thats what I use.
