Need someone to pimp my bbpress forum. £15?

Hi there!

I am almost finished with my new website but the forum is very plain. I have seen some very nice forums with bbpress but cannot work out how to upload the plugins. I need someone to upload the plugins onto my server because i cannot work out how to do it even after reading up on it.

Post counter
pm messaging
google adsense
to enable users to have avatars.
Maybe a nicer theme?
and a few more things that will make the forum nicer looking and easier to use.

If someone will upload 12 widgets so i am able to turn them on and off in my options i will pay them £15 via paypal.

Please only reply if you have experience using bbpress. (inbox me please)

well i know it shouldnt be hard, but ill tell you were i am stuck. i have downloaded the plugin i wanted and it says i should unzip the folder. i have right clicked it but cannot see an option to unzip

 

umm, unzip means un-compressing the zipped file.

Right click, and click on extract.

I think you should go back to basic web development (not in a rude way), you will mess up if you dont read a lot of material and learn about the bulletin board you have installed.

When you unzip, you can download something like filezilla and input your ftp server details and then you can upload into the "plugin" folder. I dont know about bboard but i have used some of the main ones such as vbulletin, wordpress, ipb and in all of them there is a folder which contains the plugins and themes, you get the unzipped file and drag it into the plugin folder and go to the admin section and you can "activate" the plugin and rest is pretty self-explanatory.

 

yes i have found out how to activate one in the admin panel, but after i have downloaded the plugin i want there are a few files in there, i am a total noob lol
