When will the new service take affect in Google

    We all know that there are new features added by Google to their search engine.

    One is that you can hide/block any website that you don't want to view in the search results.

    Another is the +1 button. This is where you can vote for a website if you find it useful.

    I can't see this taken affect in my Google. Is this service live? or it has not launched yet?

    I am currently using the +1 button, don't know if it has any direct effect though.

    All these services you are talking about are currently in development mode and not yet fully launched to general public.
    Read Techcrunch.com regularly for such up to date information.

    Both the services are launched....
    Now, you can use +1 button for your website.

    As far as hiding the Google results is concerned, this feature is available for all the latest version of browsers Chrome 9+, IE8+ and Firefox 3.5+

    Thanks everyone for answering. These services is been launched by Google but it will take time to take effect globally... this is what I've concluded.
