Action Required: Important update for PayPal users in India‏

As part of our ongoing effort to comply with the requirements set out in the notification of the Reserve Bank of India (“RBI Guidelines”) that apply to all online payment gateways, all PayPal users in India will be required to add the following to their PayPal account in order to continue to receive export-related payments and withdraw money:

• A purpose code related to the majority of commercial activities for export-related payments
• A PAN or Permanent Account Number
• A bank account in India (if not previously added)

To add a purpose code, PAN and bank account:

1. Log into your PayPal account at www.paypal.com/in
2. You’ll find prompts on the top of your “My Account” page asking you to “Add” your PAN, purpose code and bank account
3. Click on the “Add” links and follow the instructions.

Additionally, PayPal users in India are required to provide a current and accurate postal address on their PayPal account. To ensure that your address is up-to-date:

• Log in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.com/in
• Click on “Profile” and select “Add/Edit Street Address”.

In case you have any queries, please log into your PayPal account and click on 'Contact Us' at the bottom of the page.

For users who have already added a purpose code, PAN, and a bank account in India, as well as validated their postal address, please treat this email as a reminder only.

It seems paypal has blocked all way to do business for Indian Customer ,

Now i would go with Paychange.in and ask mine Client to pay in their paypal account and i will get LR or Bank Transfer

this is just so bad!!! RBI making life of freelancers tough. but there is nothing with million dollar scams by dirty politicians ...... this is call REAL INDIA

Well as i said if evil close the 1000ways there is god who open 1 gate like paychange.in to get ur paypal in bank . like u accept fund via them ? they pay in Bank . as i do from last 4 days

Wait till 2014 i think when the new government is elected and we get a relief from a big scamming government to low scamming government.RBI is too greedy to ignore small fishes because they cant catch bigger once.I really hate RBI now.

 

I have two Paypal Accounts now...One is Personal and another is Business, can I add a single PAN to both accounts?

 

You can't add the same PAN for two accounts.

Terms Of Exchange




1. Conditions For Exchange from Paypal To Webmoney
rules

* The paypal Email you provide in the application form Should match to the email in you libertyreserve, otherwise the application will be rejected.

# rules After receiving the approval email , you should follow the steps exactly as we instructed in the email .
# rules You should send paypal funds only to the email address specified in the approval email .
# rules While making the payment to the given paypal address, you should always mention your order which we provide in the approval email .

# rules If all the conditions are met we will fund your LibertyReserve purse within 48 hrs after successfully receving the paypal payment from you .

2.1 Paypal Limits and Hold Period (Only applies to Paypal To LibertyReserve Exchange)
# rules Senior Level- No limits for Exchange
# Customer with 5 successful transactions and 6 months Old accounts.

# LibertyReserve account registered not less than 2 years and BL greater than 30.
# Referred by an Old customer.
# Vouched by any reputable forum Admin or Moderator .
# rules Junior Level- limits for Exchange
# Single exchange transaction value should not be greater than 150$.
# For first 5 transaction and accounts less than 6 months old, we hold paypal funds for 4 days for amounts less than 100$ and 14 days for amounts greater than 100$ .
# We reserve the right to refuse the paypal to LibertyReserve exchange application without any explanation .

3. Conditions For Exchange from Libe To Paypal
# rules Single exchange Transaction value from PayPal to Libertyreserve cannot be more than 2000$ .
# rules If you are sending LibertyReserve to paypal,your paypal account will be funded only after verifying the PayPal details .
