    Pagerank is used to show people that you got a big ePenis.
    It has no direct value anymore but it's a way for people to see how your website
    compares to the rest of the net.

    Who told you that your pagerank will help you get you indexed faster? Pagerank is just a number that is determined by how many backlinks you have to your pages. Nothing more!

    Page rank basically shows the popularity of a blog/website. It depends upon the type of backlinks you are getting. That is why a backlink from a better ranked website is of more worth than 10 backlinks from a lower ranked website.

    I wouldn't worry too much about your site showing up as a PR0. As others have stated, the PR we get to see is very outdated, yours is more than likely higher than just 0.

    Well, as money is just a by-product of all the hard work and efforts you put in your work, pagerank can also be viewed in this way ;)
    Once you have good pagerank, you have an additional advantage, while advertising your site for selling articles or links or even banners. BTW it does not relate to the content you write or the visitors you have after your pages are indexed ;)

    I think page Rank Depends on Website Traffic and Back links...If you have good Back Links from PR Sites..Then you will get Page Rank.

    PR is good in the sense... the high your PR will be,
    more sites will do link exchange with you
    and you will get more benefit

    Page rank has nothing to do with indexing, even unranked pages get indexed. Page rank depicts the popularity and how many people visit your site.
