How should I find health insurance, now that i'm self employed?

    how have other you other webmasters etc gone abouto finding affordable health insurance?
    Now that I'm fresh out of college, and self employed, I'm looking for some sort of cheap insurance?
    Any tips?

    You might check out www.ehealthinsurance.com - I used them and I received a pretty good rate. Everything can be done online which made it a lot easier.

    You might also want to check if you have a college in your town that runs a "small business development center". They might be able to point you in the right direction too.

    Are you the member of any associations? Sometimes they have group insurance you can get into. I am a member of IEEE and use their insurance program - still expensive, but better than nothing!

    You might also check with the Chamber of Commerce. If you have two employees and pay taxes etc you might be eligible for a health plan, which might help even more.
