If the site is already 11 years old but no traffic, what is the use of that. Better promote your new site. Also, do a background check on the old website.

Yes you are correct. Old site with no traffic and reputation is meant for nothing. New site with better traffic and reputation is far better than any old site.

I wonder for the fools here who are adding my posts with negative reputation and with the message Thanks for your help. I think either there are some probelm with their fingures or they don't know how to use forums. :D

your new domain is just fine ..because the the old domain will not give you any benefit in SERP unless its already indexed in google for long ..My 6 month old website is competing with other old websites ..

In my opinion,Old domain is better than new one as Old domain is well indexed in search engines and new domain is new itself and it takes time to get indexed :)

I completely agree! It would be a huge waste of $10k buying it on the basis of getting some SEO benefit.

That is a good domain for adulttoys.com but if you said it help you in 2 years SEO then you are wrong . Domain is good but help you in 2 years, it imposible. Domain SEO advantages only can be see in long run unless it bring lot of baclink and organic traffic together.
What you need is purchase it and build the SEO and content by your own. The domain is more useful then your current domain which is using .com and without "online" wording. Short domain more easy to remember.
Do consider with it that it is worth before you bought it.

That domain actually will cost you more than $15k, considering the asking price and assuming you will invest on its SEO. I think that google acts weird when it comes to adult niches anyway. Domain age is a good plus, but I believe if that domain was that great, I don't think it would be still available for sale IMO. There's plenty of Adult toys businesses with deep pockets that will not even think twice about buying it for that much money.
If I was you, I will stick with your initial domain, and invest in SEO and promoting your website, rather than the domain itself.
    Good luck

I just got irritated. Somebody gave me "I disapprove" with this message: I agree.

That is why I am thinking that user must be using forum as his initial learning steps. :)

Older domain's get higher PR in google, witch can help you get higher in google, but PR must be worked at, just because the domain is older doesn't mean you'll get higher, but being 2 week's old wont really make a differance.
