Just wonder how many visitor in a month will be considered the website has matured and is time to move to next site? Any idea? 300 unique visitors or should be at least 3000 unique visitors? Please advise. Thanks

What niche are you working on? I would think around 1k+ unique visitors for the site to be matured and start making money.

Why not think bigger? Get like 5k unique visitors, and then work on the next site, that way, you can have the other one earning more money and such.

Once you're comfortable that you're getting a large enough share of the monthly searches you're targeting with the site, without having to do more work that it's worth, it's time to move on to a new site.

When you get the organic traffic more than the referral or inorganic traffic the site is mature.

    What a weird question :)

If your market consists of 100,000,000 searches a month. Are you finished when you just get 100 of the clicks?
If your market consists of 250 searches a month. Are you finished when you just get 100 of the clicks?

You are "done" with a niche if you got a certain market share and the effort to gain more visitors is too big compared to possibilities to gain profit for another project.
It's all about ROI in terms of your effort VS profit.

    It all depends on this:
    1) What is your CR (convertion rate: for Clickbank etc)
    2) What is your CTR and CPC (click though rate and cost per click: for AdSense etc)
    3) How many clicks or sales per months would it take to profit?

Lets say you get 8 clicks on your Adsense ads per 100 visitors. You have a CPC of $1 per click as well.
That would mean you earn $8 per 100 people coming to your site on average. Now you have to ask yourself
if that is enough profit for you? Does it cover the hosting / domain fees? If no, then you have to keep on
trying to get more people to your website.

I would say that on average it would take 1000 monthly people
to profit from a website enough to make it worth your time.

Well put, RickV. It is a question of quality or quantity of clicks.

Ok so you work hard you mature a site you get 5k/day traffic you earn money why move to another

For me 1k/day at least but there are niches where 1k/day not even earns you 1$ ...

What do people mean by "the next site"? Moving on to bigger and better things or like an expansion of your current website? I was also wondering this same question because I just recently started my website and am getting quite some good amount of unique visitors.

I think a decent visitors from search engines will be considered something good. 300 - 500 is a decent number for a small website.
