    Google AdWords tool is very helpful ... reach out the suggestions that Google can make and the competition level of certain keywords also.

    If you want to check, for which keywords your competition is ranking for, you could try out the rankingscore analyze at teliad - it´s for free.

    I usually use three tools for my keyword research process: Google Adwords tool, SEO book free tool(keyword suggestion) and Market Samurai. Among these the tool that has proved to me the best is Market Samurai. It is not a free tool like Google Adwords tool is.For it it is all in one SEO tool as it contains different features such as Rank Tracker, SEO Competition Analysis, Keyword research and more. You can first try the trial version of the software and later invest in the full version if you are impressed with it.
