How does this guy do it?

    Code:

    http://aitm-examples.blogspot.com/2006/05/simple-post.html
    Code (markup):
I tried to follow his description, along with few others I found, but I get either empty space or the code showing instead of the actual ads. Is it possible, and how?
Obviously it's a good ctr booster.

-How to add ads like above in your Blog ?

It is too Simple as you add Ads in your Blog .

    1. Copy the Ads code from Adsense account.
    2. Now Go to Blogger New Post and Make it in HTML mode.
    3. Paste your Code there And publish the Post.
    4. Refresh your Blog posts , Done!

    - Why did i get empty Space ?
If there is more than three ads, it may not be worked well.

    - Why did i get Codes instead actual Ads ?
Blogpost Editor must be in HTML mode, other ways[Compose Mode] you get Only Codes as you copied from adsense account.

Same thing, I tried it now again like suggested above, and I even tried to convert it here as an additional try http://www.eblogtemplates.com/blogger-ad-code-converter/ just to see what happens, but it's the same. I either get the code published instead of making the ads visible or I get an empty space. -I pasted it in html mode,
    -I converted it,
    -I disable all the ads,
-I only left ads in sidebar,
    -Only left those under posts
-Tried two different formatting so far
-Even tried only text, and then only picture ads

Don't know if I'm missing something, but have you actually tried it on Blogger recently?

    Thanks!

I design blogger templates as a hobby. although my main niche is pretty different. I have some templates designs with that are ad-optimized check my own blog www.irnovo.com. it shows ads under the post title and at the end of the post. And I have also put ad in the middle hack. So If I want to show ad in the middle. I'll just write <!--adsense--> and upper ad will move towards center for that post. simple. if you need this template PM me. Free man!

I often forget to switch to HTML when pasting code and then get a fright when I look at what I have done. Just remember to switch over to it from WYSIWYG and you'll be okay. Also, make sure when you copy and paste code that you don't leave off characters by accident.
