yeah but good luck getting your comment approved. I have about 15 blogs with dofollow and only about 1% of my comments get approved. Most of the sites are garbage

 

Very true there are thousands of do-follow blogs out there but getting comments approved is difficult. The blogs in which comments get approved easily look like spam sites.

completely agree. When I visit blogs (and this forum) I come with the intention of adding real value to EVERY post, not just cut and pasting inane chatter to get a link on the post, for instance in this thread "yes its true i m always use blog comment" who cares? What does this add? What I enjoy most is people hawking EDU and GOV sites, selling lists or using them as link baiting. Ever try to get onto a mass of these sites? while it may look like they are open, and you can post a credible and insightful comment, they invariably get removed, because most likely they dont like your commercial URL. Its all a fun game, yes?

 

I train my customers to look for do follow blogs and bulletin boards related to their business. I was contributing to a bulletin board for 8 years and then decided one day to check to see if their signature had a do follow. It did, so I change my signature to include my business domain name - and now I'm on Google's first page for Chicago Marketing Company. Google counted 250 inbound links for the text "Chicago Marketing Company" check it out. It works.

Of course dofollow comments are more juice from traffic as well as ranking point of view, but once it get approved.

I think, blog must be relate. When you get back link, if it is related then it is important for you. Otherwise it carry a little value. The same thing is true for more visitors, they visit the blog when blog contains the information which they are interested. At that point if they discover your relevant website then there is good chance that they will visit.
