Three $30 Banner Contests

Hi,

We are in need of 3 banners and are awarding a $30 prize to the best banner we choose/use for each. Three different people can win or one person could win all three of the $30 prizes, or any other combination. Everyone is eligible to win each $30 banner contest. Payment will be made via PayPal only, so please do not participate if you cannot accept winnings via PayPal. We will announce winners probably within a couple of days but maybe longer if the submissions aren't that good.

All 3 of the banners are promoting Party Poker. I'd encourage you to visit http://partypoker.com and incorporate their logo into the banners. You should also incorporate our logo at http://pokertips.org, though that is not 100% necessary. Go here to download a very large version (3.77 MB) of our logo. Additionally, each banner should include the "Bonus Code" TIPS500. All three banners should be sized 234x219.

The first banner should be animated.

First slide should say: Why play with SHARKS when you can play with FISH?

Second slide should say: Party Poker, softer competition than you're used to.

The second banner should also be animated.

First slide: Play at the largest publicly traded online poker room

Second slide: Party Poker, prompt payments guaranteed!

The third banner can be static.

Have it say: Party Poker, do you FEEL IT?

Those are the only guidelines. I'll allow each of you to use your creativity to figure out the rest. If we really love your work, there is a good chance we'll go to you directly for future needs.

Does it really have to stick to the specified number of slides? I have a nice idea for banner 1, but what I'm thinking uses 3 slides >_<;;;. Oh well, I'll try it anyway. Will edit with my submission later.

Submissions look great so far. One tip is probably a little bit less pulsating, flashy lights in general. We don't want our visitors having seizures.

 

Hey, just wanted to bump this back up to everyone's attention. So far, we've only had a couple of submissions and (if I'm being honest) none of them are exactly unbeatable at the moment. Contest is still very much up for grabs. Will give it a few more days for a few more entries to roll in before deciding on the winners!

So far we've only had around 10 banners submitted: those that you see in this thread and 3 via PM from thepunnisher87 that are pretty good. We will decide on winners around 24 hours from now so there's still time to jump in and win some or all of the money being given away. We'll be back to announce winners in 24 hours.

a745, can you provide us with a static version of the 2nd slide of the 2nd banner #2? The slide with the blue bg? We really like that slide and are going to just use it as a static banner. Also, a version of the animated banner #3 where it waits 3-4 seconds between changing slides instead of 1 second would also be great. Thank you!
