Hello Digital Point members I am a new member of this forum and this is my first post. For the past week, I have been browsing many threads and numerous posts regarding internet marketing. However, after reading through so many posts and seeing how many different members are making money by different means, I have become increasingly lost. I have searched for threads or posts on how to get started in Internet Marketing, but so far I only see posts geared to those who have already started in internet marketing. There are no posts on how to actually get started in internet marketing from scratch and I need your help please. The only internet marketing that I know so far is writing articles to associated content and that's it. Can anyone please outline for me on how to get started in internet marketing from scratch besides ebooks, as obviously I barely know anything on Internet Marketing. I am sure this thread will be helpful to numerous newbies like me who are clueless on how to get started in the world of internet marketing. If you can, please tell me how much money you make by using such methods. Thanks for your help as I really appreciate it.

First you need a site, then you need a product to market . It looks simple, but really it's not. The key to make money with internet is multiple streams of income
The first thing is to define what a person wants to do. The product must meet the needs that customers want at this time. This would be a sort of solution to make to improve the quality of life at home or at work.
I disagree bekyarov, you don't need a site or even a product at all, you can do e mail and zip submit offers with cpa networks and you can do it over facebook or Youtube or... so many ways. Just pick one way and then stick to it until you make it passive or hire someone to do it for you, then you move on. Just the way i did it. SXI
Learn from the members of MANY webmaster forums, there are lots of USEFUL posts, and members that are willing to help you succeed when you need help.
If you don't have the money for aweber or to buy a domain and hosting just join some cpa network and start making money over social networks, that would be good for the start. SXI
Do a google search for the top IM blogs and then spend a few weeks reading and learning as much as possible. That'll help point you in the right direction. Dont take action without being equipped with knowledge first
Reading is nice, but hands on experience is invaluable. My advice is to just jump in. You'll probably see some disappointing results at first, but that's part of the learning curve. It gets better. What I don't recommend is procrastination. There are more resources on the topic than you will ever be able to read. You need action and the sooner you get it, the better. Regards, George
Yeah you should start with a personal blog on something you are passionate and know a lot about. Work with wordpress and slowly learn how to build a kick ass site.. Set goals and take action
Justin has the right idea. Start a blog and that'll atleast give you a base to start building a following of people, once you can prove to people that you atleast know what your talking about. The doors for money making start to open. Unfortuantly people seem to focus on the money to soon and it turns so many people off, creating a blog and 5 minutes later plastering it with ads is not the way you want to be building your business.
Start with a free blog like blogger, you can add adsense to your site which can help you get started.
Try to make a site in the sphere of your interest. Maybe it will not be successful but it will provide you with skills, knowledge and understanding what you can do and what is necessary to do. The first step is the most difficult. The second is much easier.
Make your own blog and apply for adsense. Rich your blog with fresh content and after getting response from traffic, join on any popular CPA network. It'll take time to give you profit until your blog don't established but if you can set your blog once, you can make a huge profit from this.
Just do not try to get your Internet Marketing traffic from DP. You end up with a lot of low quality leads, not to offend anyone, but mostly true. What ever you decide, stick with it, keep it updated, keep it fresh, promote, promote, promote. Most people give up far to soon thinking they could get rich overnight....
If you are already writing articles for associated content then maybe you should upscale it to writing articles for people with blogs. You can advertise your services on freelance sites and make money online forums such as DP and warrior forum
