Hello, i have made 3 websites so far and i designed it , manage it , add contents in the websites . All of my 3 websites are community base websites one of them is 6 years old and in google search engine i have always been on google first page for the particular keyword for about almost 6 years for that site . this is what google shows when i search for that particular keyword " About 7,250,000 " than i have opened other two websites and they are also on the first page of the search engine for different keywords . other is About 1,480,000 for that particular keyword as i have read alot that to become a SEO .things require like Meta tags social marketing link building directory submission etc . My question is Social marketing require money like if i want to SEO a website it requires money to advertise a website in social network . you can create your own but it will take lot of time to get 1000 uniques by your own social network like facebook etc so for that either you have to go for google adword , ppc , or paid link and banner on other big site for a daily traffic . i have read somewhere that adding Content to the website is also SEO responsibility. So if this is the SEO responsibility than what is the responsibility of the writer or web development ? Please guide me what more i have to do to become a SEO , may be i am confuse as i haven't done this SEO thing before but i just know how to manage Website for the particular keywords in the search engine but require time to drive traffic on my website daily without paid marketing . Hi Digichat, you put some really interesting question here. Adding content to a website is responsibility of content writer. SEO's are to make sure that content is not copied from elsewhere and to ensure the required keyword density, proximity and prominence. An SEO should take care all canonical issues of the website. Yes if you choose paid marketing it requires money, but it have their profits too. If your website is on top in Google for your desired keywords and you choose PPC from Google adwords you can have enormous traffic. You will listed on top for organic as well as paid marketing. It will ad sparks to your campaign. On the other hand if you don't want to spend money for promoting your website just continue with organic SEO. You should learn about SEO in detail to do the same for your website. Keep in mind that SEO is Art and Science at the same time, do it carefully and you definitely will have better results.
