Do you still use Link Exchang?

Since I started marketing online SEO and link building was my main focus and I had so much success with them, the biggest problem was finding sites that will give you a back link without competing with 100,000 spammer / bot/ auto posting services and scripts.

I used link exchange and had some great results with it, I don't remember having any website exceeding PR2 without the use of link exchange, however the worse part of it was to find a good service that doesn't use automated scripts and provide the tools to filter non honest exchanges. I didn't find such a service and now I am creating my own service that provide this.

my question is do you guys still use link exchange? so will such service work for you?

 

Personally, i do not prefer link exchanges.

 

Just making a page called links.html and adding lots of random link exchange partners to it won't do much for your website. As far as I know, that way of doing it is pretty much dead, at least if there's any competition.

 

Link Exchange is completely dead if you are really interested in dealing them use a method of three that could work some how for reasonable benefits

 

Yes, I still believe that links play very important role in seo. For upgrading your website you must have backlinks, whether it is from forum or blogs.

 

I don't do link exchange. I just use other means to get backlinks like social networking and bookmarking.

I have never used link exchanges. I have got many invitations for 2 way linking which I have neglected. 3 way linking is the best. You can get links from multiple sites if you own more than one website.

 

I personally do not use link exchanging now a days, I do article marketing for building my links.

Link exchange manually is a tough problem when your sites is new. My sites are new, no one wants to link back

Not anymore. I just recently removed all the link exchange partners from my site. Forum posting is way better for link building.

 

i use link exchange services as it worked well for me in the past as well as doing blog posts. i use many webmaster forums like http://www.linkexchangeforum.co.uk

1 way link exchanges are very good but are hard to come by for free.

if you can do a link exchange a 3 way link exchange works very well

 

If i give you link and you give me back, the equation still equals zero. If you give me link, your value decrease and mine increase and vice versa.

Link exchange is not good. Except if it is a one way link.

 

No,because it isn't effective anymore. One way link is more beneficial.

 

No link exchange doesnt pass any weight anymore, so not worth it. Google got onto this years ago and changed the algorithm so people couldnt benefit from it.

 

Google stopped caring about link exchanges a while ago, so there isnt any point to it anymore, i just aim for one way backlinks, as it counts more if there is only one link going to your site, rather then you linking back as well.

 

yeah don't bother mate, its messy and is easier to just create your own one way back links.
