Godaddy. I know the ads are so annoying there, but you can always find a coupon for $7.50 .coms, their .infos are so cheap, and so many people that sell domains are using godaddy, so it makes it easy when they push it into your account. Oh and their Bulk Domain is awesome!

I have always used name.com personally, I find the time they take to be extraordinarily fast when compared to GoDaddy, when doing simple things like changing the nameservers. Also, name.com is so simple and there isn't so much crap as you get with GoDaddy. I don't know how everyone likes GoDaddy, since they have so much crap. Sure, they are cheap sometimes :/

Also, just started using my own host, mediatemple.net, as my registrar. Currently $5 per domain with free whois :)

Godaddy. I use 1and1 for my not so important domain names because it is cheap and has free whois

My favourite registrars are NameCheap and GoDaddy most likely because they're reliable, they provide good support and other webmasters use them so it'll be easier to transfer domains when selling and buying.

IF you've got money to burn sure GoDaddy is fine, but if you want cheap domains and free privacy. Look elsewhere. Also GoDaddy is corporate see here for details how they gave someones account over to a 3rd party: Google Godaddy-loses-appeal-on-case-holding-them-negligent-in-turning-over-ownership-of-domain-accounts/

1and1 have cheap domains, .99c often and $4.99 .com/nets etc for a long time, now they're 7.99. Free privacy. Bad is their DNS is SLOW as it propagates from Germany...Also don't let billing issue arise as your sites will be dark quicker than you can imagine -- So it's said.

Godaddy is good domain registrar but their interface is too difficult to handle and in Godaddy Domains get easily stolen.in terms of security,Godaddy is not good :(

I was with a local hosting provider for quite a while until we had a major argument and kicked me out. I'm now with hostmonster.. I've heard some good reviews about iPage as well who offer hosting at a really affordable price. I also made use of Siteground, but they are bloody expensive
