    Depends upon what type of games are you playing..
    as they say..
    Excess of anything is Bad..
    so better don't play it in excess, give it a limited time
    there are benefits in gaming also, but excess ruins it.. :p

    Games are good and bad both..... games are good when used or played to get stressed out or fresh n up your mind....but games are bad too, games are bad when used or played unnecessarily. :)

    I think that when it comes to entertainment, I compare games to TV or films, at least games keep you more mentally active and involved than TV, of course like everyone one says too much is a bad thing, but the same can be said for all entertainment.
    Plus with a more personal opinion these days TV and film tend to rely alot more heavily on mass appeal and quality often suffers considerably, games can tend to hit much more niche markets which gives their story writers a lot more freedom to be interesting with their content and I often can find games (of certain genres) to be alot more thought-provoking than any other mainstream media.
