    Hey guys,

    I am confuse between selection of web hosting for my website performance. I came to know that hosting does matter in site performance & it definitely affect my selling. so guys tell me what should I do. I really need help to resolve this query.

    Ya you are absolutely right, before choosing your web hosting provider just think and analyze 100 times whether that guy is worthy or not. Customers are the most important for any online service or business. So, don't lose it just because of your hosting provider downtime. Browse through the net, search for good hosting provider, read their customer reviews. Then select your provider.

    Hi, Yes where you are site hosted really effect your site performance.You mainly need to have
    -Better hardware resources ( like xenon ,i7 servers etc.. )
    -better network connectivity ( 1Gbps, 100Mbps etc..)
    -better software ( like cpanel,directadmin and others..)
    -Location - if you are is targeted on a specific country then hosting your site on a server of that country will be good
    and many more. You can find lots more details just by Googling :)

    Couldn't have said it better myself. I'd also like to add how well the host manages their servers and how many/the nature of the accounts they have on the server.

    Yes, web hosting makes a lot of difference, if you have a slow sever, you website will load relatively slow, whereas if you have a fast and updated server, you will have less load times.
