    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

Quick lesson I learned

Hey guys, I am not sure if this will come in use for any of you. But some of you may have seen that I was having issues with my ad blocks not displaying on every page of my website. Well after a short period of pure anger today I decided to get to the bottom of it. What I found was that AdSense does not allow any type of Facebook plug-in to be used on a page displaying ads.

    For example:

We had this code placed in the lower right corner of each page to allow users to like the post on facebook
    <fb:like ref="top_left"></fb:like>
    Code (markup):
(this is not the full code obviously. But this just puts a small 'like' button wherever)

And so with that, the AdSense crawler detected it, and then no ads were appearing.

Hope this helps at least one person out.
Don't rage if someone already said this, or if it is 'common sense' because what might be common to you isn't always common to someone else.

    That's not true.

Earlier I had used Facebook's "Like Box" on my site for a few weeks and it hadn't affected my Adsense ads. I removed the "Like Box" just last week.

Even DP has a Facebook "Like" button.

Facebook like won't affect Adsense Ads. I am having facebook like in many of our sites and blogs with adsense.

@sachin41 Why did you remove facebook like? Will it affect traffic/adsense in any way?

I think you have got it completely wrong. I have more than 10 blogs including my friends who have facebook like button as well as adsense running simultaneously at the same time. I think you should check out your html code thoroughly, there might be some other error ;)

Nonsense, you should have keep your anger for a week, because one day is not enough for you to get to the bottom of it.
