    Hello,

    Up for sale is www.homeasiandecor.com

This is an ecommerce website selling home decor and related items with an Asian theme. The shopping cart software is Magento. The skin/template is third party and was purchased for $300. Many other "small things" are custom, either paid scripts, mods, other add-ons or paid contract work to make things a certain way. Everything that is currently on the website will be transferred to the new owner. A Facebook fan page with 178 Likes and a Twitter page with 230 followers will also be included with the sale. Winner will also receive our vendor list and their contact information.

The website is a PageRank 3 and gets great traffic from Google.
Ranked #1 for the keyword "asian home decor".
    Ranked #3 for "asian decor".
Lots of traffic from other top tier keywords and unique keywords such as product names.

Site was opened in mid November 2010. Revenue has been steadily growing since then. Here are some statistics:

    Nov. 534 visits, $144.44 revenue
    Dec. 1432 visits, $565.66 revenue
    Jan. 1735 visits, $462.38 revenue
    Feb. 1718 visits, $1,238.27 revenue
    Mar. 1919 visits, $847.01 revenue

Markup on the items is between 35% to 100% depending on the product in question. There have been no returns. Occasional a refund will need to be processed due to an item being out of stock but this is rare (zero to three times per month).

AdWords was used starting in late January and was stopped in mid March.
    AdWords expenses were as follows:

    Jan. $21.94
    Feb. $195.16
    Mar. $92.06

Other expenses are minimal and include the following:

Toll Free Telephone Number average $5 to $6 per month depending on usage.
Hosting is about $7 per month, it was paid for a year in advance for the discount and expires in August.

This is your chance to own a real business with real traffic, real rankings, and real income.

Payments will be by Escrow.com and we (the seller) will pay for all of the associated costs.

My feedback score in these forums is 56 and 100% positive. This is both as a seller and a buyer so rest assured I'm not trying to "pull a fast one".

I will add attachments in a separate post or append this one if able. These will be .pdf documents from Google Analytics which show traffic and revenue. I will also provide screenshots of PayPal and possibly the bank statement if it doesn't show too much personal information. Please ask any questions if you are serious about buying and are able to pay; I will do my best to be transparent.

Is it a dropship or would I have to have my own supply?

Do you currently have a warehouse for the supply?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

There is no inventory or warehouse to worry about, unless of course you want to go that route. Currently it is set up as a drop ship business.

Hi, I am very interested, but I have some questions:

Where is dropshipper located? Is it in Japan? If so, how is situation in Japan affecting this business?

What percentage of sale is a profit?

    What is your reserve price?

You can post here or PM me - Thanks.

The drop shippers (there are two) are located in the United States. One offers products that are made in the USA and the other imports from China. I have not noticed any impact from the situation in Japan.

Profit is roughly 50% of revenue.

Reserve is close to, but definitely less than, the Buy it Now price. I am a believer that if the Reserve Price was meant to be displayed it would not be hidden by default.

If monthly revenue is $650 then month profit is about $300?

The average is $325 but it was higher in February ($619) and March ($423.50). Profit is roughly half of revenue and it varies slightly depending on the actual products sold.

Almost. It is possible that I will lower the Reserve before the end of the auction if it is not met.
