Are embedded vids do follow links?

Hi guys,

Probably a stupid question, but I wanted to know if embedding videos from various sites can hurt my PR. I mean are they "leaking"? If so is there a way to prevent that?

I'm not necessary talking about unauthorized use of content as the videos will have the logos and addresses of the sources they were taken from.

i think vids used for traffic and its has not allow link in videos .

bulochc83 is saying video marketing is done for the purposes of getting traffic, not to gain backlinks, and I completely agree. A good video can go viral quickly.

 

I understand that. My question was if the video itself is a backlink.

 

No. Although you can include a link in the video description, but its usually a nofollow link.
