Is this copyright violation(Cartoon)?

    Hi there,
    When I was checking cartoon in youtube I found a guy uploaded "Tom And Jerry" by watermarking it by his site's URL and logo(Like CartoonNetwork add their "CN" Logo in their channel). His site's alexa rank is 6***, Which means his site is very famous.
    My question is, Whether it is allowed or not? Will it lead to any problem in future I meant like banning my site etc..?

    Copyright is for 50 years from date of creation for broadcast and so it could be they are older ones and therefore no longer under protection.

    If they are still copyrighted then they would need the permission of the copyright holder to be able to redistribute the cartoons
