I have heard these stories, but I think as long as you don't violate any TOS and don't post junk/spam/autoblog you should be good. I use a blogger blog personally because it is very easy to start off. As a content writer, I like to keep things simple on the tech front at least till I learn the nuances of the business. Blogger has definitely been good. I can't customize it as well as I would like but that's because I don't know to code :/

Blogspot has been so great for me by not after they delete two of my high traffic blog for no reason so I decided to switch to Wordpress and my earning just double in two months thank to the free edit feature. I can add my adsense just anywhere I want and the design is quite better.

With more than a 100 blogs on blogger.com, updating could really be a big headache not unless you are applying an automated system for content posting.

Updating was EXTREMELY BORING! I didn't want to pay someone to do it too since each blog was making about $1-2 per day. I literally spend 6+ hours to update them all.

Blogger content guidelines are quite strict. They do not tolerate any copyright infringement, and in some way its quite correct on their part. It after all is brand "GOOGLE" .
However, the thread originator points it well. Relying only on blogspot is a risky thing to do.

Google is very strict about their rules. May be they found something which broke their rules so they taken their decision.

There is a high chance that most of the blogs out of your 130 would have been spam blogs. I believe Blogger is a free service and all they want from us is we add quality content on their servers not spammy auto updating crappy blogs.

I suggest you buy domains and add them to your blogger account and keep backup of your content, that would be an .xml file you can download from blogger. Wordpress has its drawbacks.

Were you trying to sell links or something?

Edit: Yes Google is the BOSS :)

    Yeah right.

You had what, 130 blogs? and spent, let's say 8 hours a day updating them constantly (no breaks)

that means you spent about 3 1/2 minutes updating each blog.

That's no way you could ever update a blog with unique, quality content in 3 minutes

Yes, I realised the blogspot is not customizable, and you cannot control anything. So I try to pay little money for wordpress hosting, it's quite independent and safer.

I slightly disagree with you. Blogger is as safe as any other system just don't misuse and spam their system. Its all they want.

May be your blogs have some content that violates the Blogger TOS.

    WORDPRESS ROCKS.

but where ever you host your blog, you have to agree TOS of host provider

But you missed a point. Adsense is not allowed on free Wordpress blogs. Best is get your own domain ($10/year) and start blogging on it. Then you can really sleep well.
