How to get solid traffic ??

Hi

I am sharing a website about teaching courses about how to learn the right process and the right skills on how to make a successful business online. I want to have a solid traffic, that means I want to put the basis and the traffic to keep coming after that.
Can you tell me what are the ways to have a solid traffic ?

Also I would like to ask about articles, is it as good as it used to be. Can it bring me solid traffic ? and what are the best article directories to submit my articles to ?

I know those are many questions, but I hope you would answer them for me ..

According to me youtube is one of the best places to get solid traffic

 

you site needs to be indexed by the search engines. If your site is properly done by maintaining all seo techniques then you will bet constant traffic from the search engine. Only search engine can give you constant traffic.

 

article marketing still works...i am doing it and others are getting traffic from article marketing.

Hmm... you haven't said if you're looking for free or paid traffic but I use both.

Paid, for quick results - PPC mainly
Free, slower to ramp up but long lasting traffic. SEO and about 7 other methods. Unless you're a really good writer and know how to optimize your author box don't expect to much from articles - especially after the Google Farmer/Panda changes

Ok, tons of traffic generation models. I'll tell u what I think about traffic generation success after this.
One thing that you have to have in mind is:
"What makes traffic generation succeed is by converting that traffic into profit."

What I mean in here is the faster you turn your traffic into profit, the easier your traffic generation will be. That's the key !!!

So, here's what I think about several traffic generation method:

SEO:
stick with 1 keyword at a time, build backlinks to it until it ranks high in google. DOn't work on multiple urls at the same time. After making it rank 1 in google, move to another url to make it rank higher in google.

PPC:
carefully taking buying keywords. Don't just get keywords, I think long tail keywords will work better in here. You don't just need traffic, but buying traffic. Remember the key to success above.

This 2 traffic generation methods it generally used, but few people succeeded. That's weird huh?
Ok, so reliable solid traffic source is VALID for any traffic generation method, as long as you know the RULE how to use them.

The majority of my traffic comes from article marketing. It is definitely still is an effective strategy....I write at least 10 articles each week!

 

I would say SEO for solid free traffic that will keep rolling in once you rank well in the search engines. Focus on quality content with some keyword research.

High search engine rankings is still the best but advertising via FB also nets you results.

 

I don't think he is kidding. I think article marketing if done right, can drive a good amount of traffic even after the Farmer/Panda update. Blogs publishing articles have mostly their fair amount of regular visitors and those visitors are the ones who click the links to your site in an article. It never worked well for me, but I also need to admit, I never wrote many articles because I'm anything else but a God's gifted good writer. But if someone really can write good and interesting articles, I'm sure it's a way to drive traffic.

a good ranking on google will get you solid traffic.

 

Articles are great traffic source. If I were you I would use ezinearticles.com only. It will help you with SEO, link-building and traffic generation.

 

But what I suggest is if you write good content then there is no need to work on anything else people will run to your site
