    IMO the psychologists who did this study are all ugly, they did it so that they can get pretty wives haha j/k

    Oh well it depends on the person though, I know many cute guys whose wives are less attractive than them but they're happy, it's their choice. Those guys who have -ve feelings about their marriage were probably unhappy even before getting married, it's not because the wife is less attractive they could have very well changed partners. But anyways as Cryspatus said 82 couples is not enough.

    You can't tell anything about a marriage after only 6 mos - what a STUPID study. Now if they studied 5,000 couples that had been married over 10 years I would listen to their advice on what makes the best marriage.

    Plenty of times I have seen ugly or less-than-attractive guys with smoking hot girlfriends.

    id like my girl to be on the same level as me really.

    much uglier, i would have a hard time with my self esteem, like im not good enough for anyone better.

    much sexier, i would have a hard time thinking people would be like "what the hell is she doing with that guy, she can do better"


    i just want a slightly above average girl who i can spend quality time with, both socially & sexually :D

    I don't believe in this study, even the very gorgeous celebrities divorce so its not in the physical aspects that matter its the manners and attitude of both person in the relationship
