Perhaps your site get sand box. You don't spam, but get huge traffic to your site maybe you competitor report your site to Google. Just try to make an appeal or just wait until your will back to normal.

    1. Google representatives repeatedly telling webmasters that sandbox does not exist anymore!

    2. Panda Update is global now.... So, may be your site is victim of it. Check for duplicate content and spammy links.. Alot of websites are going down the rankings these days because of same reason.

You may not be penalized at all. You may be a innocent casualty of this big algo mix up. In my opinion this ALGO deployment has been an absolute disaster. My business does not depend on SE rankings so it does not effect me.

But, when I go looking for something on google... I'm getting 3-4 results from the Same Domain sometimes and that sucks when you run into a crap domain.

If your confident that you are not doing anything wrong... unfortunately the best move for you.. is to do nothing. If you are not link spamming or doing anything clearly black hat... Don't Panic. I know it sucks to face that.. .but if you make any kind of radical change... that could hurt you when this ALGO finally gets straightened out.

It might just be the fact that google is resorting its SERPS, wait a week and you might come back. It happened to me constantly being messed around but this was probably because it was a new domain.

appleiphone is correct. Do nothing right now. If after 2 weeks you still do not find your domain name when you search for it, then it is time to determine exactly what the problem is. If you do not determine the cause, you can not determine the correct solution.

Be patient, then troubleshoot or have a professional troubleshoot for you.

You're going to need to wait for a very long time for site to come back out of sandbox. Good luck!

Google Webmaster Tools data is not 100% live. I think your site is down because of some manual review. Try to find out whats wrong you have done and then submit a reconsideration request.
