Do not use Blogspot for your AdSense sites

I had over 130 Blogspot blogs closed down by Blogger. You can still use it at your own risk, but Google (owns Blogger) likes to power trip and they think they are boss of everything.

Highly recommend that any Blogspot users switch over to Wordpress so you have control over your blog. It will also make you sleep better without worrying about getting your blogs deleted.

I agree but you didn't get them shut down because its blogger.

You got them shut down because they found it disrespectful that you are making a million blogs on some auto update crap and putting adsense on them. Google has been cracking down on A-holes who are trying to litter the internet with auto-blogs.

They prune their systems every-so-often to get rid of blogs which aren't being updated by the creator. There is nothing wrong with that, it's just a shame for you that you weren't updating them and thinking you could make money automatically without having to do any work. :)

Actually, I just checked: they haven't deleted a blog I last published to back in August of 2006... It just may have to do with the overall content.

Very funny indeed! You make the mistake of using blogger and then you advice others to go to another freeblogging platform?
What happened to the old "get yourself a proper web hosting space, a few domain names, and go for it"?
What do you think will happen sooner or later to your 130 blogs on wordpress when they'll want to power trip on you?

edit: if you meant wordpress the script, well it wasn't clear.

That's a shame but let's be honest, those 130 sites were probably complete garbage and held zero value to anybody but you - Google has been cracking down on such websites so you might want to start investing your time into something a little more constructive.

(ah, the drama ) It's called evolution - move on and along, in case it took you such a long while and external force to do it. Today is 21st century, already !
And don't forget to get over it ! Fast.

Do these blogs have unique and quality content?
Did you use the same email to create these blogs?
Did you post to your blogs manually or use automated software?

I've been on blogger for about 4 years. In my experience, they've been awesome. One blog in particular is making about $5 a day with Adsense. Not much, but it adds up -- and blogger is free and simple to use. The only time I found myself in trouble, was when I had too many blogs to handle. There were about 20, and I set up a few to auto post RSS content. Not a good idea. I think the usual practice is to just disable the one offending blog. They didn't do that. They disabled every blog, and locked me out of my account. Even my Adsense account! I sent a letter to them, and they had me going again in a few hours and we got it straightened out. I love Blogger, and have about 5 Blogger blogs now -- But, I stay away from auto posting.

Pretty sure he meant WordPress the script. I know when I was also using Blogger for AdSense money, my blogs were banned as well just because they were all the same template with poor quality content.

No, I do not use autoblogs. I write my own content but they are very thin sites. I say the adsense ads were like 80% of the site while 20% were content.
