    7-9k traffic and only 1-2$ that's to low

    Sure you have bad ad placement ... play with it ..

    Try mixing with an affiliate program ..

    People don't like to do surveys at all.... So it's wast of time.

    Tried amazon? I put that on my site with similar stats to yours, it doesn't exactly pay billions but the money is still nice to have.

    I've had a big traffic jump on my site and it earns exactly the same at 2k visitors as 7k. CTR stayed about the same, CPC went down down doooooown as the traffic went up :(

    If you got a lot of traffic and low earnings they obviously are not interested in your ads. Mix them up, change the layout, style, design, area of the page. Do some exploring. If you are really getting 7-9k per day either your keywords are extremely low or your ads need to be optimized. Not saying you are going to get rich, but never hurts to change things up a bit.

    I have a video blog and make about $5 a day from it (adsense revenue)
    A text based website of mine makes about $30 to 40 a day (similar traffic similar niche)
    While one swallow does not make a summer, it leads me to believe that adsense may be better suited to text sites than video blogs

    You should be making a bare minimum of around $5/day with these visitors.

    Experiment with different ad positions, sizes, colours of text and ad types, i.e. text and graphical ads, and vary the amount of ads on your page.

    You can also use Kontera in text advertising along side adsense, this should effectively double your earnings with adsense.

    All this info is to be found on Google, by the way.
