Please review my site

Site is kaizenlog.com

It is a place where I put some information about Malta and notes on my studies. I am gradually adding notes from my school and university studies, so the posts are quite short and mainly in point form but contain quality information from my point of view at least.

The domain was created in 2006. I had a lot of content but also contained spammy content in the past so decided to start from scratch a few months ago with actual useful information.

Are there any widgets that I should add, anything that you would recommend?

The site is loading too slow.

 

I think it's just a plain site.
Add some logo of yours and try to improve it's design.
Add images to the post because it's really nice having pictures there.
You having post with different gadgets so it's nice to affiliate to amazon.

I have checked your website and see that lots of work need to be done first on the designing part. The concept is good however, presentation of the website is not to good which will lack interest of the visitors. I think that you first make a wire frame of your website design and start working on the same.

Yes, I agreed with Gagandeep Singh.
The hotels combined search function and facebook like section need to shift to the main frame.
Currently, they are out-of-position.

One more suggestions:
You may also consider to add in pictures to your post (to make it more attractive)

Its decent...could definitely use some details like gradients or textures, but it serves the purpose of displaying content. But with that being said, you have the content box with a fixed width, and the overall content section static, so when you look at it on a 1080p monitor, you have about 800px of content, and 600px of white space...might as well fix both, shrink the whole layout, and center it so you can add a catchy background. Additionally, your ad boxes extend over the div section on the right which makes it look amateur. Overall 6/10 because it serves its purpose, just not as efficient and detail oriented as it could be.

 

Well looks okay to me like just some other normal site with full of information regarding the niche. The hotel search widget is taking extra space in your template because of which it looks awkward. Try to squeeze the widget. I really appreciate all the effort you have put into your site as it is beneficial to your readers and gives us good things to think about. I like the fact that you are innovating new ideas for your site

I think your site is good. It is simple but it looks good. The color combination is also very decent and good. And you have also provided good details on various topic and specially i like translator portion. By using It any one can see the details in its own language.

Not much going on needs some direction. Not sure what is about. Pick a niche then monetize.

 

Information is a bit cramped. makes it difficult to read the information on the site.

 

i think its too plain, get some more graphics in there
