Where I can sell my portfolio of 4,500 domain names?

Is there a place to sell the entire portfolio of domain names - when you have like over 4,000 of them? I try to list them on www.Skvoter.com - but it takes time. Most of the domain names are Russian words, although about 800 of them are English and few in Hebrew. Most of the names are .COMs.

You're best bet would be to contact some serious domainers, provide traffic info, etc and set a price.

Probably like baseball cards. Sell the premium domains individually, and sell all the commons in one lot for a cheap price, maybe even a loss.

 

but I guess the most important factor is how fast you need to sell them.

 

I know with sedo.com you can bulk upload.

Wow! It seems to be a really busy forum! Thanks for your responses. I got someone interested - let's see how it works out. I'm also going to post translations of the hottest Russian names on www.Skvoter.com - for example I have Russian equivalents of Match.com, Gold.com, Way.com, Aktor.com, Aktress.com, Help.com, Support.com and many other words/names that cost huge money in English market. Although Russian market is smaller - about 300 million Russian speakers worldwide - Russian Internet is in its infancy - as only less than 20% of Russian speakers are online so far.

Plus Russia becomes one of the wealthiest countries in the world - thanks to oil and other resources. Russian economy grew 1,000% in the last 5 years - and Russia currently produces more billionaires than any other country - 17 in 2005.

Heh, i would make a list of them and post them on a webpage. Post the list on this forum and you will probably get a lot of interest.

Yeah, why not put a group of them in several .txt files as an attachment on a selling thread once you are eligible?

EchoArts.com appraised my domain name ZodiacSign.net at $14,000. Hope I can sell it for such price! I paid only $900 for it

you can approach big domain companies, they mite be intrested in buying your entire portfolio, there are investors ready to pick up value domains.

 

Dont get caught up in the appraisal hype. They typically inflate values so you have more domains appraised by them.

.ru extentions have a signifigant discount compared to .com I would estimate a .ru is worth only 1/10 that of a .com

Keep this in mind when setting a price.
