Can you give me your thoughts on any improvements that should be made before I launch the forums?

Here's a bit of what I found during my review

1. Your website loads a bit slow. 80/100 via PageSpeed. You may be able to speed up the load time by combining external JavaScripts, Minifying your CSS and optimising your images.

2. Your forum lacks the 'liveliness' it needs. Though the website or the forum may still be quite new at some point, if you want more people to register and sign up then you'll have to be consistent with your updates. Keep posting new stuff that will lure people to your website. It would also help if you could integrate social medias such as Twitter or Facebook to keep people in the loop.

3. I'm not quite sure what's the purpose of having a second menu bar just under "Recent Activity, What's New? and Help" since you already have a main nav above them. Having a single main navigation to your website would save you lots of space and KBs. The bottom nav is alright, just not sure with the duplicate one above.

4. And since you're forum is just new, getting yourself good forum posters would also be a good thing to do. Anyway, it's not like you already don't know that

 

The style looked pretty nice to me.
It needs more posts.
Put up more ads with their correct placement.
Your website width and template does not support all browsers (it doesn't support my Opera whatsoever)

 

1. I'll have to look into that, might just be the style itself causing loading to be slow.
2. Yes the site will have frequent updates as time goes on.
3. It's the default, will definitely look into changing that.
4. It'll get there.

Thanks for letting me know that, will check and make sure it fits Opera (though I believe the only things affected are netbooks on fixed widths)

I think you can make the icon more nice then what you have.

 

Theme style is good but I think to make user friendly do some research and analysis of other forums to get more idea about LAYOUT.

Try to make the threads good and the reading should be a pleasure with words just flowing. How great is that? I highly recommend

This is a nicely presented well organized forum that's easily navigated and accessible. The thread on a wide range of related topics are concisely written and contain valuable information, especially for the newbie visitors.

It is first time I saw a forum on Xenforo frame, but it looks decent in design ( I dont know how much customization you have done )
the structure of navigation and threads looks really cool.

 

The site looks great, the forum looks even better I think this forum will have great success!
