On-page optimization | Hidden text will help ??

Hello SEO experts,

I am making new website for laptops.
My client needs laptop detail page with tabbed navigation like
[Laptop Details], [Technical Specification], [Reviews], [Pictures].
only [Laptop Details] Tab will be active by default.
Other Tabs will be hidden via CSS ( or May be via Jquery).
On clicking on other tabs it will be visible and visible one will be Off.

now My question is there will be content in Tabs [Technical Specification], [Reviews], [Pictures]. Will these content be useful for indexing?
If keyword is placed in other Tabs which are hidden (by default) will make sense for Search engines ?

Kindly advise.

 

Any thing which is visible to Search engine spider but invisible to actual visitors to your site comes under black-hat seo and Google is strongly against it..

It will be visible via visitor's action.

This is why I am confused now

 

If you link the content in the CSS or JQuery via anchor text then it will get crawled and indexed but if you are using pure JQuery and floating point variables then it wont be crawled .
The trick is to use both simultaneously . Use Jquery within nested CSS , if that makes sense to you ?
Make a nested CSS and initiate the Jquery with an onclick function within the dropdown but make sure that 'onclick' is activated via an anchor link and not a blank area click .

 

its illegal and against the google rules.. content will be visible to crawler and invisible to user comes under blackhat seo ..so dont try that.you will get banned sooon as google notice this

 

Thats called a black hat technique and will result in you getting banned from Google.

 

Do NOT use hidden text. Google finds that stuff. I know, because I used to work for them doing it.

 

Totally Black-Hat SEOing. Google really hate stuff like that.

 

Don't use hidden text. Just write out good unique content that spiders/crawlers can see and report back to Google.

 

Hey, it can be done for it to work.. however you would have to follow some strict guidelines and is very hard to teach. No use unless you want to become a black heatter...

Like VOnline suggested, just use good content..

 

I agree with techlunatic. I don't know why people are thinking this to be black-hat. Actually the title of the post itself is confusing. If you're talking about using hidden text, yeah then it is black-hat. But if you're using a tabbed widget, then it is no way black-hat. Tabbed widgets will be crawled by search engines and will not be considered as black-hat.

Yes I need TABed widget.

I do not need any hidden text intentionally.
But in Tabbed navigation only one tab will be visible and other will be hidden same time.

can google manipulate jquery actions?

I mean if I make all each TAB in different DIV blocks and via jQuery it will be hide/show.

does this will be black hate?

 

I agree with techlunatic and bekar09. What you are talking about isn't black hat.

 

I got a new ideas after read this post.

 

Dont use such method for your new website, Google will penalize you.

 

if those content can be reach by bots its still index-able

Hidden text will certainly help - it will help enormously in getting banned by G, don't do it under any circumstances.

 

Actually my Topic title is bit confusive.

I do not mean hidden text via same background color or small size fonts etc.
I need TAbbed navigation.

in this case we have one tab active at time and others will be in active.
that way other tabs I called as hidden.

what do you think now?

its comes under black hat seo. Don,t do this and promote your website through in ethical manner.
