Now that Facebook has the fan pages, a lot of companies use it to promote their product. For example, if people liking the pages and suggest it to their friends to like the pages the could win prizes (such as, tickets to concert). Does this really effective for the companies to gain their customers? Does this affecting to the loyalty of the customer and to the sales of the products?

Well honey this is what everyone including the big companies have to do now-a-days to promote their product. You can also call it viral marketing because since facebook has disabled the option of 'suggest to friends', even the fan page admin has to do such things to get more likes for his fan page. :)
Yes it has been effective every time, the only thing is it has to be done smartly ;)

    You have three options:

1: Drive traffic from your page to your website!

2: Drive traffic from your website to your page! [if u need likes]

3: Drive Likes to your page from outside

True true...the beginnings are very hard, but once you have the ball rolling :) For a local business, such as a restaurant, to have 200-500 likes can be a very profitable thing.

Yes, from what I have seen, FB Pages are really great marketing tools. They put your product/company in front of millions of people for free. Think about the fact that FB is, I believe, the 3rd largest search engine online, so lots of people use it. Of course, as with anything online, it is a matter of traffic. You want to promote your page as much as possible in an appropriate way (meaning not making every status update about your Page- LOL:). One effective way to do that, in my opinion, is to join FB groups that are related to your page and be an active member. If you build relationships with people and give quality feedback and content in your posts, they will be more likely to pay attention to what you say and do, including your page. Also, if you are interested in using FB PPC (FB ads), I am told that it is cheaper in general to drive traffic to an FB Page than to send traffic to a regular website.

And yes, FB has moved to using iFrames for its Pages. Now, you can't use FBML on a Page unless you created the Page tabs with FBML before the change over to iFrames (I believe that was at the beginning of March of this year). if you want to learn more about iFrames and Pages, I would highly recommend two people on FB: Jo Barnes and Jared Elvidge. Jo is often called the FaceBook Queen. They are both very genuine, helpful people, and I have found their info. to be very high in quality. As a disclaimer, I am friends with Jared, though I recommend him as a resource because he is good at what he does, not because we are friends. I know Jo a little from FB, but would not say we are friends at this point. Still, for anyone interested in making a Page, looking at their work could be worth it. Just my two cents;) Have a great day everyone!
