Paypal Indian Policy Implemented - You cannot send balance funds to anyone now

Good bye paypal, you lost some good $$$$$$. Now fuck off.

 

ICICI bank b2 account can't be credited....i got invalid bank account email from paypal today and deposits were returned...Strange that I didn't get Rs 250 chargeback...

My question is can e-wallet be credited from paypal?.... I think e-wallet can work with paypal...After adding e-wallet to paypal.... add sufficient funds to it each time you want to send payments...I still have to check this...I'll get e-wallet in few days!

what about existing subscriptions and all which goes automatically every month? From what paypal says, all these amounts will be directly charged to credit card....instead of balance..

 

Get ready for automatic 7 day withdrawals. Watch your Paypal and bank account as funds can be transferred anytime without your permission! There are no such rules like US, UK, Europe, etc. I wonder from where did RBI make such rules...

Anyways, according to this blog post, minimum withdrawal amount of $10, transaction fee of Rs. 50 and fees for transferring funds of less than Rs.7000.00 will be waived!

 

Paypal is still updating all indian accounts and i am sure paypal will do a blog announcement later this week. From what i anticipate is if we dont withdraw paypal funds in 7 days time, they will auto remit the funds to default bank account. so it is better to withdraw manually ALL the funds once in a week.

 

What do you mean by "Updating Accounts" ?
Do you think that Paypal will reset that problem and make indians be able to send payments from their balance normally?

 

Please answer my question. I am desperate.

1) What is this CC thing. Does it mean that if i add a CC in paypal then i will be able to send money through paypal.

2) If i make an account in Alertpay, etc then can i send money to someone's paypal account.

 

1) if you add CC that has funds ready so you will be able to send money through paypal.
2) if you have an account in Alertpay, you WON'T be able to send money to Paypal.

 

Damn....now i m gonna loose my Indian clients

to all those who are boasting and happy that they can still see send option and they are unaffected : Wait a while people .. They are implementing this throughout India paypal accounts.. It may take a while to see every account getting effected
From my own experience last year Feb(i think) when paypal payments to Indian paypal holders were reversed ..It took a while to effect each paypal india account but ultimately it did

 

But even with send money option, its not working...after filling the details, we are asked to add credit card...

Get the money, why do you spend?

Check whether your CC is successfully added or not. Also do check your credit limits of CC while trying to send through PayPal.

 

I don't find a need to attach a screen shot because its much similar to this one:

the last time when i paid, it was through PayPal because, i don't have a CC attached to my PayPal

 

This is really bad news. Now we Indians have to use some alternatives like Moneybookers and Alertpay as PayPal has not leave any other option to send money

If you are using VCC then you'll have to add a new card every 24 hours.. VCC is only valid for 24 hours.
