    Although a high PR can be a possibility of placing you to the first page in search engine results page, it still not an assurance to get targeted traffic to your site. So I take it that your aim is to gain reputation or authority and to earn your visitor's trust. And it's not about how many inbound links you are having, it's about the quality of those links.

    get as many PR 7-8 links as possible... you won't get those by just linking to low PR pages.

    No one knows the answer. It all depends on many factors (the PR of the page that is linking to your site, the number of outbound links on that page...)

    It's not a question of QUANTITY but of QUALITY. If you have a high authority/high PR site in your category linking to you, that 1 link will get you a higher PR than if you had tons of backlinks from PR N/A, PR 0 and PR 1 sites.

    How do you get QUALITY sites to link to you? Some people BUY links (I don't recommend this), others focus on HIGH QUALITY CONTENT that make their sites REFERENCE / AUTHORITY sites.

    Not sure, but my method is to write 3 articles to one directory and do so to many directory till i can get good ranking in google ( 2 or 3 ) in my keyword.

    u continue your submission process...consider only high Pr dofollow sites..quantity is important..but it doesn't matter that your website get Pr 7 or 8.only consider on u get # top 10 position on your targeted keywords.that's it..

    its not very difficult to get pr 7-8 now theses days because Google changed algorithm and Matt cut write in his blog..Pr is not too much important now...but still people looking for PR for selling some links...

    OR 15 links from Pr7
    OR 1 link from Pr7 and 100 links from pr6
    OR 200 links from Pr6
    OR 2000 links from Pr5
    OR 20000 links from Pr4
    OR 200000 links from Pr3
    OR 2000000 links from Pr2
    OR 20000000 links from Pr1
    OR a good friend in Google at high authority.

    There is not any hard and fast rule as such that after that limit you will get a very good PR It means Do more and more forum posting and you will get a lot of back links that will only help you to get a high PR for your site.
