i have a website on Fashion, Beauty, Health, Gifts, People, Parties, Home decoration and many many more topics, i am working very hard for making it's rank better day by day, but i am not getting the results, i am confused about the keywords, how to select keywords for my website? for increasing traffic level.

 

...why do not you try some keyword tools? for example use the adword tool, soak a pool of keywords.....then target your ones..........keep optimizing on those keywords.......surely you will get result....remember keyword selection is very important.....usually.....high hit numbers denotes fierce competition.....so the bottom line is to go and start from the down of the list........then you will start to see better result.....one after another keyword......and last thing....it takes time.

and put yourself int he shoes of your buyers, try and think what they would type in. Try to think of what information they would want to see on your site. Once you have the keywords, try and group them and make a page for each group making sure the keywords appear on the page. The more content on your site the better (but good content).

 

How old your website is. Site's age is a big factor for getting good rankings. You did not write what activities you did to improve its ranking. Have you uploaded sitemap.xml page on it?

Keywords should always be unique and niche. Its is good to have a word which is more popular amongst the people and update them timely relating towards your blog. Trend setting keyword are more useful for creating very good traffic.
