Where did all my site links go?

So I regularly check links going to my site..for the past few weeks.
I have 320+ only here in DP
I have 20s on other 40 other diff. sites.

Now when I checked again thru GOOGLE WEBMASTER.
    All is gone, everything!!!
Except for the links coming from my site only.

    Where did they all go?
Could anyone explain how did that happen?

I dunno the right term is...is it "backlinks"?
    Yeah theyre all gone...

I experienced the same problem a while back. Google hit the reset switch on me. I'm not sure as to what the reason is but could be sandboxing? Hoping for someone to confirm my theory here...

No its not sandboxing.... Sandbox does not exist anymore, it was disappeared long back.... Whenever ranking fluctuate people (for any reason) people misinterpret it as sand-boxing.

Google webmaster tool (or google itself) never shows all backlinks.

Moreover it is not necessary that displayed links are the important one or on based of relevancy....
So you better use site explorer Yahoo! https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/mysites

    Just check this out,
If you do a Google search using the link: operator [link:example.com], you'll see a sampling of pages that link to your site. For a more complete list of pages that link to yours, verify your site in Webmaster Tools and check out the link reports. Note that, although these reports are more comprehensive than a link: query, they may not include 100% of all links that you know about. This is normal and you don't need to worry about it. Webmaster Tools does not always show 100% of the links that Google knows about, so just because a particular link doesn't appear in Webmaster Tools doesn't mean that Google doesn't know about that link, or that your site isn't "getting credit" for that link.

Yes, Sandbox is just a belief, and people who did not get good rankings, just say it is sandboxed. I hope that, google webmasters, show backlinks very slow. Some times they do not show.

it is due to the new google algorithum. I have over 10,000 links from unique articles, now only 50 show up after update...NONE was copied or spun contnet.

Mmm.. I noticed missing links as well.

At the end of the day, links always come and go that why the process is never ending.

Maybe Google is in process of updating backlinks now. Much better if you try to check it later, just to double check.

Gee...hard to say how all of them just "vanished" in Google... They could be there still. Wouldn't it be nice if you could email all the webmasters of those links with the click of a button? Wouldn't it be nice to have a system that could do that? (you can...)
