    Yeah for some reason forums like Wickedfire and BHW gets DDOS alot, and its like one or the other, never both at the same time. Good thing DP is still on, I guess DP can afford to have better protection and servers, or people just dont hate DP as much as they do the other two forums.. :)

    Maybe people hate those forums, but some have good reputation and are getting good orders for their services. I think the hackers should think about those people as well. Cos, some of them are living their life with the money they earn from the work they get from those forums.

    Jon's wickedfire isnt there to make money. I feel he has kept it coz he likes the affiliate community. He does monetize it but i dont feel thats his priority. He has been offered a lot of money for it in the past, but has kept it coz he loves the place.

    Even if that is true, what I mean is that the amount of purchases going on there would easily allow them to prevent these attacks, monetizing a bit more maybe, even more if he likes the affiliate community.

    The SEO services provided there absolutely rock !.

    Their front page is up with a message that's it's a DDoS attack. (Denial of service for the noobs.) And that they're working with the fibbies to trace it. (Good luck with that.) Thousands of webmasters depend on services from the WF BST section. And everyone lost money with this.

    It forced me to look at the BST section here for something other than content and I found some pretty good services, I would've overlooked otherwise.

    This goes both ways. The owners of a forum need to uphold a certain level of decorum on behalf of all of their members. From what I've seen the guy who runs that site seems VERY juvenile and bombast. It's obvious that the attack is an attack on the forum's character; sometimes it pays to play nice. :)

    I hadn't been on there too long but I agree. There are a heck of a lot of aggressive, junky posts. And the owners and the mods set the tone for all. It's not a high-quality forum in my opinion, but a money-maker for some.
