    Are you looking to create a News site? This project is surplus to our requirements at the moment. It was part of an experiment that ran for nearly six months.

    The site has over 600 original news stories and would make an ideal starting point for your News site project.

    We have not promoted the site, built backlinks, sold advertising or developed the site to more than three story posts per day so there is huge potential here.

    The site is built on the Wordpress platform and hosted at Hostgator. The domain name is held at eNomCentral and is 4yrs 3mths old.

    No page rank and no revenue. There has been absolutely no promotion or backlink building.
    The site is surplus to our requirements (we are working on several news sites and need to drop two or three to concentrate and focus)
    However, a lot of work has been put in (600+ stories) and we think the site would be a good start for someone who wants to develop a News site.

    All news stories are published manually every day.
    Logo can be included (you'll need to purchase a licence to use certain graphics - no more than a few dollars)

    Again, there's no bid or reserve price - just make an offer.

    The domain is held with eNom so I can't push to a Godaddy account.

    No it's not approved. Made an application for several sites in February and March. This one was declined. Google don't give reasons but I feel it was because some categories do not have enough regular posts (like Sports for example). I just didn't have the resources to keep all categories regularly filled. If you're going to go for Google News status you'll have to allow enough resources to keeping all categories filled up with regular posts. Otherwise, cut the number of categories and concentrate on keeping enough posts in the remaining categories. Google do reassess sites but I am concentrating on several other sites I'm developing.
