Here is what we are looking for: We want a logo for our new candy store. We are going to sell retro/vintage candy and chocolate products. The website is www.buddyboycandy.com The current website is not designed, it is just a place holder, once the logo is designed the website will be updated with color and images to match the logo. The colors are not important, the logo needs to be able to render nicely on various media (website,t-shirts,candy bags, coffee cups etc). What we are looking for is a logo as universal as Starbucks (a circular logo), the main image in the circle will be a adorable boy from the 1950s era, on the ring around the main logo we will put the company's name, at the top center aligned "BUDDY BOY" and the bottom center "CANDY". The boy we do not want it to be specific to candy since the idea is to use the same logo on various other products to be branded as buddy boy (popcorn, chocolate etc.) in the future (just change the wording at the bottom of the ring). We want the contest to run for 5 days, we will pay the winner $100 via paypal once we receive a release form from the winning designer for the use of the logo in all media and a . Additional work might be available in the near future for designer of winning logo.

Keep them coming. Here is some feedback from the posting so far. Blackmarker: Very nice, the profile shadow though is too generic for what we are thinking. I liked the two color concept but not a big fun of the purple color. xDemevenx: Love the colors and the wash-out effect. The ring letters are unique, but I would like them to be inside a ring so it will be more practical lighted sign, also I would like the face to be more oval shaped. SNiiP3R: Best logo so far, love the concept. I would like all fonts to be yellow and the background I would like it to be a different color so it will contrast with the t-shirt. Also since we are using yellow for the fonts maybe a different hair color? FlashD: we are looking for original work, not cut and paste...Thank you Jeda! Logos4all: great job, concept is right but I would like more color to make it stand out. Without the hat might have worked better for my taste.
