Articles Submission and Sharing

These terms sometimes confuse me.

When we say Article submission directories, do we mean to just Copy Paste them our Article from our website ( Which could be a duplicate issue ) ? Or do we mean to just write a new article for them and get paid in return ?


Or simply are we sharing our article with them from our website's URL ?
And whats the basic difference between :

1) Article submissions
2) Directory submissions
3) Blog submissions


Please put some light on this because I really do need to understand it in order to make use of it. Also advise some Free Article Directories for a start through which I can share my articles and get them ranked well enough.

 

Submitting article simply means writing an article and submitting it on different directories.

Article submission is submission your article on different article directories available (you better look for quality article directories... which are more than just content farms)

Directory submission is submitting your website on different directories (according to the website’s category). It is usually done to get good quality one way links.

Blog submission is quite similar to directory submission... In this you submit your blogs to different directories available.

 

Good but a big part of the question still remains unanswered.

You mean to say Article Submission is just for Writing and Submitting articles and it has nothing to do with your websites ? So by this you could get paid for writing articles.


And Blog Submissions + Directory Submissions are related to website. And by this you can just get traffic to your websites and rank it up, right ?

 

Article Submission is part of link building. When we write and submit article on different good article directory then we also get chance to provide link back to our site. So it benefit us in 2 way
1- Backlink - which help in ranking.
2- Traffic - Readers to your article may click on the link and visit your site.

Directory submissions - It can be Article Direcotry submission or link Directory submission.

Blog Submission - It may be a bog Post, Guest blogging etc.

 

Payment for such an article is the backlinks you receive in return

Just write different articles besides from the sites you have used and submit them in to article sites. This will give you unique visitors as well as backlinks.

With 290 posts to the credit i don't expect this kind of basic explanation you should be asking for .
Still, just to respond to your query, its always good to write a fresh new article instead of copying from the website and link it to the web page where you have targeted the keyword of the same niche.
There is a huge different between
1) Article submissions
2) Directory submissions
3) Blog submissions

The second one is direct link whereas the first and third are content based links which are very useful these days.

One more thing, Are all Article Submission websites do-follow ? Since they're the only one we can make use through. Getting traffic on a no-follow backlink doesn't really matter as it can just get you some traffic, nothing else. What do you say ?

 

It is a good technique to submit unique articles at least partially unique articles may be with 30% uniqueness. When you submit 1 article in multiple places keeping the links same there is no worry of being penalized but only one of these articles get indexed and you get only one valuable link out of that. Traffic may still come but result is slashed to a great deal. So I think it is better to submit unique articles in 5 places rather than same article in hundreds of places.

 

In your Signature, there is an Article Submission website, but its no-follow, how do you make use of it ?

Yes, there articles are definitely related to your website (if you are into article marketing).... You promote your website, your product/ service using article marketing (by placing your website links into article body, using anchor text etc. etc.).

But there are many people who are into article submission just for sharing information or may be for money (If you have some good writing skills, why not to utilise it for earning some extra bucks... i believe there are few sites who offer money for submitting 'valuable' articles to their sites)

Blog submission and directory submission is for getting backlinks and to improve link popularity.... Yes, which ultimately means high traffic and ranking.

1) you submit your article to sites like EZA, articlebase etc... to get backlinks & traffic
2) It can be link directory or article directory & both are different (you should have asked it more clearly)
3) You submit your posts to blog as a guest blogger again for the sake of a backlink

in directory submission, you have to submit your web site url to directories, along with a brief description of your site.
in blog submission, you build up a blog by posting additional and latest information related to your website with a link back to your website.
