    Meta Tags are basically a HTML tags that represents data to search engines regarding the information present on the web page.
    The description and keyword tags plays an important role using meta tags.Description tag describes your web page to the search engine spiders and the keyword helps in identification of the pages by search engine spiders.

    Meta information that is associated with a web page and placed in the HTML but not displayed on the web-page for human visitors. The 3 important meta tags are the meta title, meta description and meta keywords. Some internet marketing experts claim that meta keywords are no longer in use.

    <meta name="description" content="Place your content here" />
    <meta name="keywords" Place Your keywords here" />

    Go to any page of a website and right click the mouse to select view page source then you can check the meta tags there

    Meta tags are not useful as they once were. Meta description tag is the one you should optimize as much as you can. As far as meta keyword is concerned its been years since any search engine considered that for ranking

    Meta tags are tags in the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) that describes some aspect of the contents of a Web page. Title, keyword, & description are some samples of meta tags, they are very helpful in achieving high ranks for your website....
