How can I decrease alexa rank?

Hello everybody.....I m facing a great problem and that is regarding alexa rank of my site. I've doing a lot seo+smo work for my site. After all alexa rank of my site rising up instead of down. Plz guide me how can i decrease as soon as possible....

Do some link building, and add search engine friendly content in your website. Links from low alexa ranked websites will increase your UV. If you did your SEO properly you must get get some traffic form search engines. Try to improve number of referral websites that sending good traffic your site.

There might be a bit of confusion - is your rank number getting lower (good) or higher (not so good)?

You would say that your Alexa rank 'increased' even if the actual number 'decreased'... bit confusing - like a positive test at the doctors is usually negative rather than positive...
