I keep installing and removing extensions , its not a big deal as all perform in the same way . Just search for the extension in the search bar and install anything that has a few hundred positive votes to it .

Presently I have 2 installed simultaneously in my Google Chrome Browser
1)SEO Site Tools (coz this shows PR even without the need to click on the toolbar)
2)Chrome SEO (sometime when I visit a page with the sole purpose of checking its ranking this comes handy since it generates the PR data very fast even before the complete page gets loaded, unlike the first one which needs to wait till the page is completely loaded)

Still , for normal use I would recommend you SEO site tools , since it gives more comprehensive data of indexed links , MOZ rank , site owners WHOIS , Magestic SEO data, Quantcast , Compete , Alexa with links , Traffic cost and lot other details .

For every website owner I would recommend 2 must plugins SEO Site tools and the official alexa toolbar which you will get from alexa.com itself

I think you need to updated your list. Propeller, for example, is history. You also mentioned Connectedy twice. And, by the way, what are those # links means?

 

Yes the list certainly needs editing , but it was so minor that it was not worth the trouble really , one link out of 100 not working sounds easy to say but I can't be checking all the links on a regular basis, just to keep the list updated , as we already had the queries about some sites having turned into nofollow . I personally use a limited few favorite ones from them so I didn't bother about the rest . Will update the thread as soon I get some time to update the listings .

The # of links was the number of links of some definite PR that point to the social bookmarking sites itself . That was a mark to evaluate the link profile of the sites while evaluating their quality , actually no use to non SEO people , they can just use the sites directly .
