I just want to know what are the best ways to promote the site. I have asked this question from many people and every time i got new answer. I have a lot of confusions about this. I need some fast way. I know about simple SEO. How to do Directory submission, Press release, Article submission and social. Please give your good suggestions. Looking for good replies.

What current campaigns do YOU currently HAVE?

Also what type of Site is this? Review Site, company site, services site, product site.

I've seen instances where some one has an insurance site for a fairly competitive niche. 900,000 competing sites & 400,000 in quotations site.

They did a Google places listing & threw in a little of YELP and so forth and go first page rankings.

Also You have SEO, article marketing, directories, & link building.

I personally like Article marketing with a twist.

Write 1 article & submit it to 100's of Directories

1 article x 100 directories = 1000 backlinks
2 articles x 100 directories = 2000 backlinks

Now imagine if each backlink brought You back just one Very INTERESTED visitor a day..
