    Quality is still over quantity. Google has changed its algorithms because junk content kepep on getting on the first page. With people focusing on just quantity, there wont be change. Other sites will naturally link to you if you have got quality.

    In seo, quality stands a better chance of fetching success than quantity but you also need quantity at the same time.

    Quality of course...

    But why in the world do you want to limit yourself to just quality?

    How about doing both and going for "Quantity Quality"...Think about that for a minute!

    Quantity = Quality

    A few highest quality content can not make a notable difference in your life.
    Also quality is not a stable measure even it is not a measure. Quality perceptions always change over time. But the quantity for you can never change until you add or delete content.
    Money is just the game of numbers. Quality is called as "utility" in micro economics. You can't fix the quality of $1 at any point even you can't determine it at all. But at the same time you can not change the prices. (ie, you can't buy a yacht for $1)
    Quality is just perception occurred by your unstable needs. Search engines even the visitors or something else can never know exactly which site is quality or not.

    I hadn't really thought of it that way before... it made me stop and think for a moment. I build sites for users, but I optimize them, as part of the building, for search engines.

    Quality in both of these cases is my preference. Quality seo both on-site and off is better than ALMOST any quantity of bad seo. Quality information for my users is always better than ANY quantity of crap. I do the seo to get the users, I do the site to try and convert the users or at least get them to return, where I have another chance to convert them. Quality, quality, quality is the key.

    Thanks for sparking the "aha" moment. :)
